Descriptions: Quality Matters Workshops and Courses

MOQI-Sponsored Quality Matters Workshops

Minnesota State holds the license through a contract with QM to offer the “Improving Your Online Course” and the “Applying the Quality Matters Rubric” workshops to faculty and staff from all QM affiliates in Minnesota including faculty and staff from Minnesota State and the University of Minnesota. The dates of upcoming sessions as well as registration information is provided on the Registration Page.

These workshops are offered via onsite (face-to-face) delivery or online by Certified QM Facilitators who’ve been designated as statewide facilitators. Online sessions are typically 2 weeks long.  Onsite APPQMR workshops are 7.5 hours in length; the onsite IYOC workshop is 4 hours in length.  Many faculty report that they enjoy meeting and working directly with colleagues during onsite workshops.  Institutions interested in sponsoring an onsite APPQMR or IYOC workshop at their institution are encouraged to contact us for more information.

MOQI is coordinating the delivery of these official Quality Matters workshops both online and onsite in Minnesota for faculty, staff and administrators from affiliate institutions.  This coordinated effort provides opportunities for inter-institutional collaboration while providing an increase in opportunities to participate in the workshop at significant savings to individuals and institutions.
