Improving Your Online Course (IYOC) Workshop

Location:  M-State, Moorhead
Date/ Time: December 11 from 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Cost: $35.00 for MnSCU faculty & staff. Each session is limited to 20 participants.
Registration Information

QM LogoThe “Improving Your Online Course” workshop explores the QM Rubric and provides a framework to improve the quality of online and blended courses. Participants use the QM Rubric to review their own courses and develop a course improvement plan.

The content is based on the 21 essential Specific Review Standards of the Quality Matters Rubric.  Participants come away with a plan for course improvement, so enrolling in the workshop with an online or blended course with a pre-developed course is required.

MOQI Webinar Logo“In Focus” (A Closer Look at QM Standards and How to Meet Them)

Accessibility of Course Materials (Focus on Standard 8.3)

This 30 minute webinar will focus on the many options to consider for meeting Standard 8.3. There is no cost to attend.

Connecting Objectives, Materials and Activities (Focus on Standards 2.4 and 4.2)

This session will focus on the inter-connectedness of Standards 2.4 and 4.2. An example of a “roadmap” document will be shared that illustrates how to organize your course to meet these standards. There is no cost to attend.

Set the Stage With Your Learning Objectives (Focus on Standards 2.1 and 2.2)

Well written learning objectives that are measurable and consistent establish the foundation upon which the rest of the course review is based. Join us to find out more about how 2.1 and 2.2 set the stage for alignment.  There is no cost to attend.

Writing Helpful Recommendations

This webinar is for Certified Peer Reviewers and Master Reviewers from Minnesota.
When: December 3  3-4 PM Central Time

Helpful recommendations are the key to a successful course review. This webinar will review the mechanics of writing helpful recommendations during a course review and will include a discussion of the impact of writing “less than helpful” recommendations.  There is no cost to attend.
