STAR Symposium 2018 – Call for Presentation Proposals is Open!

The STAR Symposium planning committee is seeking presentation proposals for the 2018 STAR Symposium which will be held February 9, 2018. We’re hoping you’ll share your ideas and approaches for engaging your students, managing your classroom, integrating best practices or collaborating for improvement. This is your opportunity to share the innovative work you’re doing at your institution, for your department, and in your classroom!

This all-day virtual conference will focus on topics related to quality initiatives and best practices (teaching, design, faculty support, etc.) for face-to-face, blended, and online courses and/or programs. The planning committee is seeking proposals for presentations related to the following topics:

  • Course Design and Delivery
  • Grading, Assessment, and Feedback
  • Student Engagement
  • Technology Integration
  • Measuring the Impact of Best Practices
  • Other Innovations…

To submit your proposal, please complete this form. The conference planning committee will be accepting proposals until October 31. We will review all proposals and will contact everyone regarding the status of their proposal in December.

The MN eLearning Summit is the premiere event of the Minnesota Learning Commons and is a gathering place for K-12, college, and university educators and innovators in the Midwest who are committed to effective online and blended learning. This year, the Summit will be held at Minneapolis Community and Technical College in downtown Minneapolis on July 29-30.

MnSCU campuses and faculty have some of the most innovative online/hybrid teaching and learning initiatives. Let others know about your projects and experiences by presenting at this regional conference. March 13 is the deadline for submitting your proposal.
