Two MnSCU institutions have recently been recognized by Quality Matters for their institution-wide implementation plans. Northland Community & Technical College and Anoka Technical College each submitted a three-year plan for institutional implementation of Quality Matters. The plans were reviewed and approved by the Quality Matters Academic Advisory Council. Implementation plans include information about how an institution will support faculty by providing professional development related to QM as well as any plans for informal or formal course reviews.
There are currently a number of institutions in the United States with recognized implementation plans. A complete list can be viewed here. As part of a having a recognized implementation plan, institutions are expected to submit annual progress reports to Quality Matters. Institutions with approved implementation plans receive a special seal that can be used to publicize this recognition.
