Are you interested in serving on a Peer Review Team as part of the Minnesota Online Quality Initiative? If so, we’d love to include you!
Individuals participating on a course review team report the following benefits of participation:
- Learn from other reviewers, the team chair and the review process
- Gain recognition from peers for your participation
- Engage in collegial discussion with peers across the state about best practices in course design
- Get ideas for how you might improve your own course
If you are a QM Certified Peer Reviewer and are interested in being assigned to an upcoming course review, please indicate your interest on this form.
If you’re not currently certified as a QM Peer Reviewer, but would like to be – here are the requirements: you must 1) be a current online instructor; 2) complete the Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR) workshop; 3) complete QM’s Certified Peer Reviewer course; and, 4) sign a MOU (memorandum of understanding) with QM.
Minnesota Online has provided funding through MOQI for MnSCU faculty to reduce the cost of the registration fee into the Peer Reviewer course. (Funds are currently available through 6/30/13)
